Eight links

2 of 8 links claimed · 0 evidenced

Compiled from public sources, unclaimed. What they mean

Each link
  1. 1. Real personClaimed

Person · Claimed. Providers are registered platform accounts with ratings and job history; Field Nation reserves the right to validate identity information; buyers can require certification, background-check or drug-test qualifications that providers must upload and have verified before requesting the work. public evidence

Still open: Buyer Terms say Field Nation 'does not and will not investigate Providers' and does not verify their skills, background or profile information. Who runs the screenings, and how identity is checked, is not published.

  2. 2. Captured locallyNot stated

    Camera · Not stated

Still open: No live-capture, EXIF or signed-capture handling documented; attachments carry only an upload time. Field Nation is not on the C2PA conforming products list.

Place · Claimed. check_in carries location {lat, lng}, which 'is compared against the work order location to verify the provider is on-site'; a buyer can set require_gps to require GPS check-in. public evidence

Still open: No distance threshold; check-out has no location; photos carry no coordinates; spoofing controls not described.

Needs both: the weaker one counts.

  3. 3. Genuine deviceNot stated

    App · Not stated

Still open: No app or device attestation. Providers 'typically upload completion photos via the mobile app', but the API also accepts uploads, check-ins, task completion and signatures, so nothing shows a photo came from the app. Capture in the provider's own app or rig is not a server-verified attestation (STANDARD §3).

  4. 4. Sealed captureNot stated

    Camera · Not stated

Still open: No live-capture, EXIF or signed-capture handling documented; attachments carry only an upload time. Field Nation is not on the C2PA conforming products list.

Content · Claimed. Required tasks (e.g. 'Take photo of serial number') and signatures must be completed before the provider marks work done; the buyer then approves, marks incomplete or disputes (workorder.status.approved). public evidence

Still open: Review is by the buyer (or SmartAudit rules the buyer configures), not Field Nation; unreviewed work is deemed accepted after 15 days.

Counts only with a stated signing mechanism (C2PA, a manifest).

  5. 5. Known timestampReported

Time · Claimed. Check-in/check-out creates time logs with start.utc/end.utc, status pending/verified/disputed ('verified' = confirmed by buyer); on completion the system checks signature timestamps fall within the service window. public evidence

Still open: Time logs can be created, edited and deleted via the API; attachments carry only an upload time, not a capture time.

A time stated, not attested (RFC 3161, a log): Reported.

  6. 6. Tracked in transitNot stated

Custody record (optional field) · Not stated

  7. 7. Independently verifiedClaimed

Cross-check · Claimed. A site contact can sign off on completion (name, title, signature image); on completion the system checks the required number of signatures and that names match the expected contacts. public evidence

Still open: Signatures are captured on the provider's device and can also be created via the API; nothing ties the signer's identity or presence to the site.

  8. 8. Delivered to youNot stated

Delivery receipt (optional field) · Not stated

Notes

About. Marketplace of independent field technicians (IT, networking, AV, POS, cabling, security, IoT) serving sites in the US and Canada. A buyer posts a work order with location, schedule and pay; a provider checks in on site, completes photo and signature tasks and logs time. REST v2 API (contract required) with work orders, GPS check-in, time logs, attachments, signatures and HMAC-signed webhooks.

Price. No figures published. Client API is an add-on on Plus and included on Premier; API use is billed per the signed Sales Order, with a set-up fee. Providers pay Field Nation a percentage of the work-order charges. All amounts in USD. Cancelling after a provider is assigned and dispatched may incur a fee.

Coverage. About page: '425K+ sites serviced throughout the U.S. and Canada'. The coverage map is by US state and claims 'every ZIP code'. Density in Canada is not published. Payments in USD only; California buyers must meet credit requirements instead of prefunding.

Timing. 'Fill jobs in minutes with local, experienced techs' (coverage page) and a customer quote of 'same-day field service nationwide' (home page); the buyer sets the service window and no SLA is published.

Licence. Under the Standard Work Order Terms each Provider assigns to the Buyer all rights in the Work Product made in performing a work order, and Buyer Terms say work-order information is the Buyer's property; a buyer can vary these terms per work order. Field Nation does not own Buyer Data but takes a worldwide licence to use it for operating the Platform and 'related business purposes', and may use de-identified data for any purpose. The terms do not mention AI or ML training, or resale of deliverables (the resale ban in the User Agreement covers the Platform itself).
